God Bless America (and Dave)!

Our nation's birthday is just days away, so what better way to "get in the patriotic spirit" than with an All-American classic from 1986??!! David Lee Roth broke ties with Van Halen in 1985, released an EP that same year, then on July 7, 1986, released his first full length solo album away from his old bandmates.  With a killer line up of Stevie Vai, Greg Bissonette, and Billy Sheehan behind him, "Diamond" Dave gave us a great, raunchy, rock record with songs like:  "Elephant Gun", a gnarly cover of "Tobacco Road", and this Red, White, & Blue tribute to our Statue of Liberty.."Yankee Rose".  Happy 4th!!!
