Doggone, It's Hot

Well, IS my nickname, and has been for a pretty long time, so why not address our "furry friends", and a quick reminder on looking out for 'em during this recent blast of hot weather.  Things like a heatstroke to your pet may cause permanent damage to their organs.  And dogs with shorter snouts like Pugs, Boxers, and Pekinese, as well as very young or senior dogs are especially vunerable.  Symptoms include panting and drooling, of course, but also fever, vomiting, and even collapse.  If you think your "best friend" is suffering from a heatstroke, get 'em to the vet ASAP!   Come on, if you were sick..and THEY could drive you, you KNOW they would!!!
