Cornerstone Fellowship Church of Mill Run is looking to raise funds for the Awana program with a Chicken & Baked Potato Dinner and Basket Fundraiser in Altoona next Saturday at the church on Mill Run Road in Altoona.
Cornerstone Fellowship is located on Mill Run Road in Altoona, just past the Island bar on the opposite side of the street. The money raised will be used to help pay for the Awana program including the vests, books, snacks, picnics, prizes, and any other things needed for the children in the program.
The Chicken & Potato Dinner and Basket Fundraiser will be held on Saturday, November 23rd, 2013 from 4pm until 7pm. Dinners can be purchased for take out or can be eaten in the church. Tickets are $6 in advance or $7 at the door. Dinners include a grilled chicken quarter, a baked potato with your choice of toppings, corn and a dessert. Upgraded desserts and soda can be purchased as well. The Basket Fundraiser is made up of gift baskets each containing a specific theme. Themed gift baskets that have already been donated include Steelers, Christmas, Scrapbooking, Movie Night, Avon, and Mary Kay.
