Mulligan’s Mutts Annual Golf Tourney - Iron Masters Country Club in Roaring Spring

Mulligan’s Mutts All about the Animals

Friends of the animals at the Central Pennsylvania Humane Society are a loyal breed. They

enjoy tradition and the companionship of animals and friends. One time honored tradition was kept today

when Maeve and Dan Lawruk, avid animal lovers and loyal CPHS volunteers visited the Shelter for their

annual photo op with some four-legged adoptable friends.

Maeve, a senior at Hollidaysburg Area High School chose J.R. and Mookie while her father, Dan,

chose Saidie. J.R. is a ten year old Jack Russell Terrier who has been at the Shelter since mid-March

just waiting for a special friend who loves to play. His adoption is free. Mookie is 12, laid back and

inquisitive. Saidie is a one year old female Cur-Black-mouth mix with boundless energy and eager to

learn. (You can view all the animals available for adoption at

The Lawruks are avid sponsors of the Mulligan’s Mutts Annual Golf and know that when you see these

adoptable dogs you too will want to support Mulligan’s Mutts. They encourage the public to sign up for

this excellent event, or as Brian Uhlinger, Chair of Mulligans likes to say, “The wee four-legged folk of

our fine county and beyond be invitin' ya to join us for Mulligan's Mutts Annual Golf on Friday, June 13,

2014! Once again, we'll be crackin' the sticks among the gently rolling, green hills of the beautiful Iron

Masters Country Club in Roaring Spring, PA (” The festivities and

frivolities commence with registration at 10:45am; shotgun start at 12:00pm. The event format is 4-person
