More details have been announced about this year’s 9th annual Jeff Wallack Memorial Jam. The show will again take place on Saturday night, April 13, at Pellegrine’s in Altoona, raising money for a scholarship fund in the name of Jeff, a popular Altoona area guitar player who passed away in 2005. Besides the reunion of Altoona dance floor favorites Xeno announced last week, this year’s show will feature reunion sets by Jeff’s former bands Rapid Fire and Shattered China, plus performances from NailDriver, Half Tempted and Felix & the Hurricanes. The show will start at 8 p.m., and donation at the door will be $8 per person, with proceeds going to the Jeff Wallack Memorial Jam Music Scholarship Fund. There will be door prizes and giveaways.

Pittsburgh’s Bill Deasy has announced a show to celebrate the release of his new CD.
