HGR Recap 10/13 - We Welcome via phone guest Xander Demos!

Hello Everyone,

Here is the recap of the October 13 edition of Rocky 104.9 and Rocky 99's weekly local music program, "The Homegrown Rocker," which airs every Sunday night from 9 to 11 PM on WRKY-FM (www.rocky1049.com) and WRKW-FM (www.rocky99.com).

Thanks to this week’s guest via phone, Pittsburgh guitar shred wizard Xander Demos (www.xanderdemos.com)! We learned Xander’s story and his thoughts on his guitar skills and music, and we checked out songs from his latest CD, Guitarcadia! Along the way, we pulled a 2003 song by Xander’s former band Stronghold from the archive for this week’s “Local Music Flashback,” we debuted new songs by NailDriver and StarChild, updated “Local Music News,” and reviewed 44Mag’s Outlaw Psychosis CD in “The Professor’s CD Corner.”
