A long time party band force on the state’s stages is calling it quits at the end of this month. Green Eggs is bidding farewell after nearly two decades of providing musical dance floor fun. The group has reassembled their popular recent roster of brothers Brian and Brad Nicarry, guitarist Matt Day and drummer Jake Gochnour to play out Green Eggs’ “Final Lap” of show dates. Originally formed as Green Eggs and Spam in 1995, the group has enjoyed widespread success throughout the state over the past two decades, and has also spread their onstage party to
Florida spring break venues and beach venues as well. No Altoona, Johnstown or State College show dates for Green Eggs’ farewell tour have yet been announced.

Williamsport metalheads 44Mag have parted ways with guitarist Josh Welteroth, citing creative differences. The parting is said to be friendly, and the group plans to continue on.
