Western PA-based metal rockers Paragon have decided to end their run on area stages, citing changing circumstances within the group’s roster.

State College-based country rockers AC Express are going on indefinite hiatus. The group’s last show before the break happened last night at The Arena in State College.

Huntingdon-based acoustic duo Strait and Miller are in Rochester, New York this weekend, recording several new original songs, folk music and Mississippi delta blues numbers.

A benefit concert is coming together for later this month to help out victims of a house fire. The Lynne McDonough Fire Fundraiser will take place at Pellegrine’s on Friday night, February 28, and will raise funds to help out Lynne after fire seriously damaged her Duncansville residence earlier this month. Bands and performers on the bill so far include Zombie Butterflies, B-Side Avenue, The Wrongfully Accused, the Backyard Rockers and Cottonmouth.
