ASSAULT AT PENN STATE

JUST AS THE NEW SEMESTER GETS UNDERWAY, PENN STATE POLICE ARE INVESTIGATING A REPORTED SEXUAL ASSAULT THAT OCCURRED SUNDAY AFTERNOON IN THE EAST HALLS RESIDENCE COMPLEX. OFFICIALS SAY THE ALLEGED VICTIM HELPED POLICE IDENTIFY THE SUSPECT WHOM SHE KNEW.

23 YEAR OLD PATRICK FYOCK OF VINTONDALE IS CHARGED WITH INVOLUNTARY MANSLAUGHTER FOR ALLEGEDLY PROVIDING BEER TO A TEENAGE DRIVER AND HIS PRELIMINARY HEARING IS TODAY IN CAMBRIA COUNTY. IN 2010, 17 YEAR OLD DANIEL TUROUS OF VINTONDALE FLED FROM HOLLIDAYSBURG BORO POLICE AND CRASHED HIS CAR, KILLING HIS PASSENGER, 16 YEAR OLD KELSEY LYNN MILLER OF NANTY GLO. TUROUS PLEADED GUILTY TO VEHICULAR HOMICIDE WHILE DRIVING DRUNK AND WAS SENTENCED TO 3-AND-A-HALF YEARS IN PRISON.
