Call Waiting Sucks!! I get calls from people who obviously want to talk to me. In the middle of the conversation, you hear that little irritating pause that tells you that the person who wants to talk to you, is getting another call. Unless it is an emergency, or an important call that they have been waiting for, the person should not take the call, and continue talking to you. It is rude to say "Hold On" and then click over to the other call. To me, they are saying, "this other person is more important to me than you are, so you are going to have to wait. No way!!!! Like i said, there are emergencies and calls that people HAVE to take. But for the most part, people are just curious and need to know everything right away...so they take the other call and make you wait. I have a rule, i do not let people put me on hold for more than 30 seconds. If it's more than 30 seconds than i hang up.
